Parents Association
Scoil Naomh Feichín is fortunate to have a very active and supportive Parents Association. Regular meetings are held in the school to discuss new fundraising ideas and initiatives.
Last year the Parents Association coordinated the "Design your own Christmas Card" project where all of the pupils in the school had an opportunity to create their own personalised Christmas Cards. These cards were then professionally printed and parents could order packs of the child's card to send to friends and relatives for Christmas. Later in the year the Parents Association organised a very successful Cake Sale and Bakery Demonstration. This event was held in the school hall and was very well supported by the local community.
Visiting speakers are sometimes invited to give presentations to parents - e.g. a very interesting talk about CyberBullying was arranged by the Parents Association last year.
Volunteers from the Parents Association also generously help with the catering and organisation of the functions in the school hall after the Confirmation & First Communion ceremonies.
Fundraising organised by the Parents Association in Scoil Naomh Feichín is usually used to purchase additional resources for the school.
